Rationale & Links

The main purpose of my website was to simplify the Stuff Website as I found it hard to browse through the existing website. I did this by designing negative space and not filling it with advertisements (as these can be very distracting. Especially when reading half way through an article). I applied rule lines to make navigating simplistic as possible and easy to navigate though heavy text and information, I also decided to stick with a similar grid throughout my website for the users to get into a repetitive rhythm when navigating
throughout the website.

I applied symbols to my website categories as this can make the user journey even more mindless and easy to navigate through. For my cell phone version i decided to put the
navigation bar down the bottom to make accessibility physically reachable, i also added the hamburger menu to the bottom nav bar which i believe makes the journey even more
convenient and user friendly. I applied 3D buttons throughout my design to create an even more mindless journey for users, ideally i don’t want my users to have to think twice if
something is click-able, id like them to navigate throughout the website mindlessly
and naturally.
